What’s In Bloom?

Right now, we have many beautiful late season plants blooming and providing nectar for our native pollinators as things begin to wind down and get ready for fall. We have many tall stands of purple Joe-Pye-Weed blooming near the south shelter and conservatory area.
Black-eyed Susans and false sunflowers are peppered in many shades of yellow, orange, and red throughout the Sunken Garden. Millenium ornamental onions/alliums are slightly past peak, but are still a fabulous pop of purple. Bluestem grasses are beginning to take on their shades of purples and reds.
A few of the mid-season bloomers still have some late flowers, including daylilies, obedient plant, and hostas. Stonecrop sedums like ‘Autumn Fire’ and ‘Neon’ are just beginning to bloom; I expect them to be a showstopper in the garden next week.
Day Pass
Day Passes may be purchased online and at the gate upon your arrival and is valid only for that day. Click on either of the links below to purchase your pass for a convenient and efficient way to enter the Garden.
New for 2026: A Day Pass is $12 per person. Children 5 years and younger are free.

Annual Membership
An Annual Household Membership can be purchased online, by calling the Peace Garden office or at the gate on a day of your visit. An Annual Membership is valid for one year and allows entry to the Peace Garden anytime during the year including for programming and certain events as well as allows a member vote at the annual meeting. Your membership card may include the primary card holder’s name and the name of a spouse or partner. You will be required to show ID with your membership card. The annual pass is good for a carload of guests with the member and/or the member’s partner/spouse.

Lifetime Membership
Lifetime Membership can be purchased online, by calling the Peace Garden office or at the gate on a day of your visit. A Lifetime Membership is good forever and allows members to have one vote at the annual meeting. This is the best deal for dedicated Peace Garden Adventurers. Your membership card may only include the primary card holder’s name. This card is not valid for a spouse or partner who must have their own card. You will be required to show ID with your membership card.
