Fund the Bloomerang!
The International Peace Garden spans nearly 2,400 acres, providing ample room for hiking trails, playgrounds, lakes, formal gardens, camps, a cacti Conservatory and more. But our expansive size can be a challenge for those with limited mobility or limited time to visit. It’s also difficult to understand the full scope and significance of this historic place without taking a tour. In an effort to make the Peace Garden more accessible to all, and to showcase all that we have to offer, we are investing in the Bloomerang – a 100% electric eco-shuttle that will provide free transportation and tours throughout the Peace Garden.
The Bloomerang will allow us to
- Provide guided tours to our more than 35,000 annual visitors
- Share our history and mission of peace
- Improve accessibility
- Showcase the beauty of our surroundings
- Introduce the garden to a new generation
- Provide eco-friendly transportation throughout our 2,400 acres
We need to raise $20,000 to purchase the Bloomerang.

The International Peace Garden was established in 1932 by forward-thinking visionaries that anticipated the importance of an area dedicated to enduring peace on an international border. Where you’d typically find a fortified barrier, we have a beautiful garden.
We are proud of our rich history of celebrating peace and fostering a more peaceful world. But in order to ensure that we can continue our mission and provide a beautiful destination for generations to come, we need to make a few updates! That’s where you come in. The International Peace Garden is calling on supporters of peace, garden enthusiasts, and YOU to help us with some necessary improvements.
