June 19, 2023 — St. Michel Furniture of Rugby and Bottineau is committed to community service and
partnership and recently made a donation to the International Peace Garden (IPG) and International Music
Camp (IMC).

Owner Rob St. Michel and son Evan St. Michel provided the two organizations with a discount on 200 mattresses
and covers for 2023 and another 200 of each in 2024. IPG and IMC share dormitories over the summer months,
so that as many as 400 students and faculty can stay on-site each week.

“At St. Michel Furniture we understand how important the International Peace Garden and International Music
Camp are to not only the communities we serve, but also the great state of North Dakota,” Rob St. Michel said.
“We are honored to have this opportunity to donate a great night’s sleep to campers and those staying in the
dorms of the Music Camp. We wish them all a great summer, and we look forward to making this donation again
next year.”

As a 501c3 non-profit, the International Peace Garden relies in part on charitable contributions.

“To have this type of support for two of the most unique and educational institutions in North Dakota is truly an
honor,” CEO Tim Chapman said. “Rob, Evan and their staffs are proud of their Peace Garden State heritage and
we appreciate their affinity for the Garden and Music Camp.”

IMC Co-Directors Tim and Christine Baumann added: “Since 1956, the International Music Camp has been an
important part of the summer experience for kids from North Dakota and across the world.  We greatly
appreciate the support St. Michel Furniture to help ensure that our facilities remain world class and welcoming
for the next 67 years.”

Nestled in the Turtle Mountains is a garden. A celebration of peace, a living monument to the ideals of friendship
and cooperation among nations. Acres of uninterrupted prairie, forest and radiant floral gardens defined by
nature, not borders. The Internal Peace Garden is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for peace.
