Free Senior Wednesdays – Stories We Carry

Join us as David Neufeld of the Turtle Mountain Souris Plains Heritage Association takes a deeper look at this organization and its great work illuminating the rich history of our area.

“We the people of southwest Manitoba and north-central North Dakota have distinct stories to tell. Determined innovators. Community Builders. Heroes and Tricksters. Turtle Mountain Souris Plains Heritage Association has been collecting and retelling local stories; 10,000 years of human history, since 2004. Land, Neighbours, Stories. What stories do you carry? Together we’ll fill the room with local knowledge. David’s from Lake Max onTurtle Mountain. See vantagepoints.ca.”
